Through community partnerships, we are ending homelessness and substandard housing in our community.

Since 1993, Habitat for Humanity Yuba-Sutter has been dedicated to creating sustainable housing solutions, offering a pathway from homelessness to homeownership for individuals and families in the Yuba-Sutter region.

We focus on providing Homeownership Opportunities for families in need, Permanent Supportive Housing for low-income individuals, and Supportive Services for those at risk of, or currently experiencing, homelessness. Additionally, we offer home repair services and disaster response to help those affected by natural calamities.

Our History

Habitat for Humanity Yuba-Sutter was founded in 1993. Since 1993, we have been building many homes in Yuba and Sutter Counties (and counting).

We have transitioned to being a home builder, a mortgage lender, and now partner with many nonprofits in our community to serve our homeless population and empower them to become contributing members of our community once again.

Our Services

Homeownership & Family Services

Our Family Services Department offers homeownership opportunities, home repair and rehabilitation services, disaster recovery, educational services, and USDA Loan Package assistance. We are committed to providing low-income families with the resources and support they need to secure stable housing. Our goal is to create sustainable housing solutions that help families transition from homelessness to permanent stability.

Affordable Housing Rentals and Supportive Outreach Services

Our Supportive Outreach Services department is commited to empowering individuals to build a foundation for a better future. We offer Permanent Supportive Housing Units, Case Management, Housing Navigation, Supportive Outreach, Substance Abuse Treatment, and In-Home care. We understand that everyone falls on hard times now and then, and we are committed to helping people recognize their potential and regain stability.

Homeless Shelters, Transitional Housing, and Coordianted Entry

In partnership with Hands of Hope, we operate the Life Building Center in Marysville, CA, a shelter and coordinated entry site for the homeless that provides vital services and support to individuals in need. We are also preparing to launch the Life Advancement Center in Yuba City, which will offer the same comprehensive services, along with transitional housing, further expanding access to resources and opportunities for long-term stability.

Our ReStore: Shop, Donate, and Support Affordable Housing

Our Habitat for Humanity ReStore is a non-profit home improvement store and donation center that sells new and gently used furniture, appliances, building materials, and home goods at a fraction of the retail price.

All proceeds from the ReStore fund Habitat for Humanity housing projects in Yuba and Sutter Counties. The ReStore also reduces waste, by giving new life to reusable materials, along with providing affordable home goods to local families.

Visit our ReStore at 202 D Street, Marysville CA | 9:00am – 5:00pm Tuesday to Saturday.
