Helping the Community, One Home at a Time

Through Community Partnerships we are ending homelessness and substandard housing in our community

We are not just housing families in need. We are bringing people back into the community to remind them that they're needed.

Welcome to Habitat for Humanity Yuba-Sutter

Yuba-Sutter Habitat for Humanity is creating pathways from homelessness to homeownership within the Yuba-Sutter areas.

Habitat for Humanity homes are sold with no profit received. The homes are built through volunteer labor and donated resources and money from the community. Funding for Habitat for Humanity comes from home payments, donations from individuals, families, corporations, foundations, and the government.

Habitat for Humanity Yuba-Sutter was founded in 1993. Since 1993, we have been building many homes in Yuba and Sutter Counties (and counting).

The local community has always been the heart and soul of this organization, and we couldn't do this work without your help.

2020 has been a challenging year for so many. When we see our community struggling we rise to serve. We quickly assimilate to serve during the Northern California fires to collect donations, create evacuation sites, and coordinate meals for our brave firefighters battling the blaze.

We have completed 12 new homes, a 25-bed emergency stay shelter, attained the HomeKey Grant, and purchased a 62-room, 124-bed permanent supportive housing shelter all the while securing fabulous donor partners to stock our ReStore with quality products, ending in our most successful year to date.
