Pine Street Home Application Process
With the Homeowner Orientations wrapped up, we now have a handful of qualified applicants for the Pine Street home!
Our Family Selection Committee is currently reviewing their applications, and we should expect to formally announce the selected family by mid-April. Stay tuned!
1. Application Period
The application window is now closed.
2. Family Selection Process
All completed and qualified applications are currently being reviewed by our Family Selection Committee, a volunteer committee that uses a standardized scoring metric to ensure families are selected equitably, consistently, and without bias.
3. What Happens After Selection
Once a family is selected, we will:
- Officially announce our newest Habitat partner family
- Begin the sweat equity phase, inviting volunteers back to the site for exterior paint, fence construction, and landscaping
4. Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
And then we Celebrate!!! Habitat will welcome all donors, volunteers, and partner agencies to a ribbon cutting and key ceremony in early spring to welcome the new homeowner into the Habitat for Humanity Yuba/Sutter family
